Authorization for Preauthorized Payments

Membership Hold Policy

We hereby authorize the designated billing company selected by this business to draw items (including checks, electronic funds transfer, and charge card) for the purpose of paying dues for services. This includes any late fees or services fees as well as additional authorized charged purposes on the account indicated below:

Subject to the following conditions:

The items shall be drawn on or about the date listed on the payment plan. The transactions on your bank statement will constitute receipts for payment.

If the regular payments set forth on the payment plan should vary in amount (accepting pre-authorized additional charges), you are entitled to receive notice ten days prior to the said payment. By signing, you are authorized to receive notice only when the said amount differs by more than $100 from your most recent payment.

The privilege of making payments under this arrangement may be revoked by the company if any items are not paid upon presentation.

If this pre-authorized payment arrangement is revoked for any reason this does not release you from your obligation (payment plan).

A service fee will be assessed and drafted for any check, draft, credit card or order returned for insufficient funds or any other reason. A late fee will be assessed and drafted should any monthly payments become past due.

This pre-authorized payment arrangement shall apply to all clients of Kohr Method.

Class Cancellation Policy

Kohr Method strives to promote fairness amongst members, our coaches and our business. Spots are limited, and if a member/client fails to attend class or an appointment, it means another member/client loses the opportunity to occupy that spot. Our instructors are affected, as their compensation is based on class participation averages. Finally, as a business, our financial success is dependent on having each spot in class filled.

We understand that life happens. Exceptions may be granted on a discretionary basis in cases of injury, illness, and inclement weather.

Please follow our social media channels to stay up to date on class changes and cancellations. This information will also be provided to you by way of email/SMS message if your class or appointment is changed or cancelled. If you have any questions regarding class cancellations, please email us at hello@kohrmethod.ca or via our messaging system.

We appreciate your understanding and cooperation in the implementation and enforcement of this policy.

To cancel your class reservation or appointment, you will need to login to our booking software either online or via the app.

Late cancellation and/or no show fees will be processed within 24-hours of the scheduled class start time.

A ‘Late Cancel’ is one that occurs within the 5-hour window prior to the scheduled class/appointment start time.

A ‘No Show’ is when you simply do not show up for the scheduled class and/or appointments. We ask members to be mindful when booking their classes and to cancel themselves, if needed, as soon as possible, as there are fellow members who are also waiting for a spot in our classes. This helps cultivate an atmosphere of community, ensures fairness and encourages everyone to fully engage in class with intention and purpose.

If you have an “Ultimate Membership” you will incur a charge of $35 if you fail to cancel outside of the required 5-hour window or do not show up for your scheduled class/appointment.

If you have a “Basic Membership”, “Essential Membership” or “Class Package” you will lose that class credit from your account if you fail to cancel outside of the required 5-hour window or do not show up for your scheduled class/appointment.

The purpose of this policy is to promote fairness amongst members, our instructors and our business. We strive to provide a fair and efficient waitlist system to accommodate as many members as possible.

When classes are fully booked, members can join the waitlist. The system logs the date and time that you were added to the waitlist so when a class spot opens up, the first person in line on the waitlist is automatically booked into class and so on. When you join the waitlist, please treat this as being registered for the class and be prepared to attend with last-minute notice, as our waitlist tends to move quickly, particularly the day before the class.

If you are on the waitlist and get booked into a class, our system will notify you via email. You may be booked into a class from the waitlist up to 2 hours prior to class start time. We ask members to ensure they have their notification settings on to avoid missing alerts pertaining to their waitlist status.

Once you are moved from the waitlist into the class registration list, our standard late cancellation and no-show fees apply. If you are on the waitlist and are unable to attend class for any reason, you must remove yourself from the waitlist (outside of the 5-hour window) to avoid a late cancellation fee. We appreciate your cooperation in managing your schedule accordingly, as this will help avoid any penalties and will allow other members to move from the waitlist into class.

For example: If you are booked into class from the waitlist 2 hours prior to class and you can no longer attend and you cancel your spot; you are subject to our late cancellation policy. As such, we encourage members to monitor their waitlist sign ups.

If you are on a waitlist, holding this spot constitutes a “booking” which counts towards your membership/class pack credits. Be aware that if you overbook yourself on multiple waitlists and you are then booked into a class from a waitlist, you will be automatically charged a drop in fee at time the system books you into the class.

For example: You have an Essential Membership (maximum of 8 classes per month) and you have booked yourself into 5 classes and are on 4 waitlists. In this case, you have overbooked yourself by 1 booking. Therefore, there is a chance that you will be booked into all 4 classes from the waitlist and will be charged for the 9th class.

Waitlists tend to move quickly. Therefore, to avoid additional charges, we encourage members to remain mindful of their total bookings and manage their waitlists on a regular basis.
